About Us
Alice and Jess Shaffer reside outside of the small Southeast Kansas community of McCune, Kansas where they live peacefully and raise their puppies. Sometimes their grandchildren come and play with the puppies. They are pictured above with Ryder and Reagan, two of their eight grandchildren.
When the couple considered retirement they knew that they couldn't just sit in the rocking chair. So they decided to turn Alice's gift for nurturing into an opportunity to raise puppies for others. The couple began their adventure in 2014. So while there has always been a variety of pets at their house, the couple has found joy in raising these puppies and finding them forever homes.
We handle all of our puppies each day, we get to know their personalities and how they are different from each other. So when we place them with a family, we love to keep in touch and hear how they are doing. We've made friends across the country and that is a wonderful bonus!
